Builders and architects have long been searching for solutions to meet the current design demands for slab-to-slab fire rating in non-fire rated shafts. The Ravenscroft fire damper provides a range of sizes not previously available. All dampers are compliance tested by Brandz for AUS/NZ building codes and by Warrington Fire Research for overseas compliance. The dampers were originally developed in Finland by Oy Halton Group and are now made under licence by Ravenscroft.

Tested and approved for plasterboard walls with fire ratings up to two hours, it incorporates a fire rated ceramic insulation blanket encapsulated with galvanised steel. Duct access panels are not required because this damper can be easily inspected and reset using the indicator handle from outside the duct. |
