Intumescent Fire Damper
Designed to seal penetrations in fire walls and floors. These dampers have no moving parts and allow bi-directional airflow. Lorient dampers are fire tested to AS1530.4 and comply with the Building Code of Australia, specification C3.15 and with the requirements of AS/NZS 1668.1. A sudden increase in temperature caused by hot flames or gasses will cause the intumescent vanes to expand across the damper opening, sealing off the area. LVH-O dampers also provide a high degree of insulation from radiant heat, protecting any nearby combustible materials from ignition. Reliable, trouble-free operation improves overall system reliability. No operational checks are needed. Only visual inspection is required for ongoing maintenance. |

Flo Intumescent Fire Damper
The next generation in damper technology is here! LVH-Hi Flo dampers have a four hour fire rating and are fully compliant to AS1530.4. Ultra thin intumescent vanes further reduce the static pressure drop across the damper which also results in less static pressure load on fan sizing. System performance is further improved by the thinner, rounded edge of the intumescent vanes allowing for smoother air flow through the damper. Lorient intumescent damper application has been impeded for many years due to high static pressure across the damper as a result of the wide vane blades. Innovative new intumescent technology has recently allowed for new designs to be considered. The LVH-Hi Flo damper represents a true breakthough in design with major advantages in airflow and system performance due to the use of 50% thinner vanes. Available in these sizes:
