System
which incorporates integrated variable fan speed technology.
Germany's
premier prestige fan manufacturer Ziehl-Abegg has recently introduced a
revolutionary development: the EC (Electronically Commutated) fan
range. The
fan is single phase A/C power in with an inverter providing DC power to
the
motor. The outstanding feature of this remarkable fan range is the
ability to
be speed controlled from 2% to 100% by a simple potentiometer or via a
controller capable of accepting input from a sensor and using that
signal to
provide proportional output in the 0 to 10 volt range. In our Diversity
System
a differential pressure sensor provides the 0 to 10 volt signals.
The
Diversity System integrates with BMS
(Building Management Systems) for the ultimate in control and reporting.
At
last! An intelligent fan control system
which delivers massive savings of typically 60% over traditional
continuous
operation roof mounted exhaust fans. Featuring a combination of
motorised dampers, pressure
sensors and infinitely variable speed fans the
Diversity System is truly an on-demand system. The fans react in real
time to
continually changing load. Fan speed is purely dependent on the number
of
occupant demands on the system at any one time. When occupants sleep
the fan
also sleeps at minimum speed and saves precious energy!
