Casella CEL-360S Logging Sound Level Meter

Imported from the UK, the CEL-360S is a fully functional data logging sound level meter used to measure noise levels between 30 and 140 dB.

In residential developments the parameter measured by the device is LAEQ (equivalent continuous noise level).

Single point field calibration prior to use is achieved with an acoustic calibrator ensuring repeatable readings which are compliant to the relevant standards.

The hand-held meter is ideal for determining ambient noise levels in bathrooms, toilets, laundries and living areas prior to and during system operation.

Windows-based software is available for graphical presentation of time-based acoustic profiles.

Our experience has determined that the accuracy of the CEL-360S represents a  major step forward in the provision of reliable and credible noise level data for our clients in support of BCA compliance certification.

Alnor Model RVA+ Rotating Vane Anemometer

The RVA+ is intended for measurement  of air velocity and volume flow at return grilles. It uses the rotating vane anemometer technology. Air movement causes rotation of a multi blade fan mounted in low-friction bearings. An infrared sensor translates fan blade movement into measured air velocity. This device is particularly useful in restricted access positions where hood access is limited.

Alnor LoFlo Balometer Capture Hood

Imported from USA, the Alnor Capture Hood represents the leading edge of technology relating to accurate measurement of volumetric air flow.

A capture (volumetric measuring)  hood is an instrument used to measure volumetric air flows from supply diffusers and exhaust grilles.

The sensing technology utilised is thermo-anemometer with excellent low-end sensitivity making it ideal for mechanical ventilation volumes. A digital readout indicates accurate measurements across the total face of a grille.

This device supersedes the previously used rotating vane anemometers which measured averages and were subject to operator variation.

Our experience has determined that the accuracy, repeatability and stability of the Alnor hood represents a major step forward in the provision of reliable, credible air volume data for our clients in support of AS1668.2 -2002 certification.
